Why? Why are they doing this? It's a rather sad picture despite it's beauty, i'm curious as to why Tavros is (i'm assuming) killing himself, with either the help, or the comfort of Gamzee. Or..Maybe Gamzee is killing him and Tavros is just accepting it? I don't know, i'm just curious.
And as for that: yeah, very good questions, you know? But to answer them, you have to broaden your horizon when it comes to this picture. First of all, where are they? Is this a lake, a river, middle of ocean? There is no life in this water, and that's the first thing; the other is: what exactly is above the surface? What you see here is only a chunk of a bigger possible story that you can make up on your own with what you see here, even if that's not much. I like to think that the dialogue could be part of what could have happened in some alternative universe when Gamzee found Tavros pierced with his own lance in his last dying moments. Death is just pulling you under to another world, and that's what this picture is about.
